Michele's priorities come from years of listening to Milton residents, and they all begin with the same conviction: this is our community, and town government should reflect that.

An Open, Transparent Town Hall

Town government should never feel like a closed club. As supervisor, Michele will:

• • Post complete meeting agendas and documents at least 72 hours before every meeting, so residents know what is being discussed and decided before it happens
  • Redesign agendas to clearly identify all old and planned new business, and move the second public comment period to the end of the meeting so residents can speak to the items under consideration
  • Conduct the business of the town in public, with real discussion before votes

Every Voice Matters

More residents involved means better decisions and a stronger town. Michele will:

• • Reinvigorate Milton's committee structure so committees actually meet, take action, and report results
  • Establish a council of local business owners, so economic development is guided by the people running businesses in Milton, not an independent contractor or outside consultants
  • Expand notification of proposed developments beyond the current 300 feet, so more of the neighbors who may be affected learn of projects and have meaningful input

An Advocate, Not a Bystander

Your supervisor represents Milton on the Saratoga County Board of Supervisors. That seat is your voice, and Michele intends to use it and keep you informed. She will:

• • Advocate for Milton's interests at the county level instead of taking marching orders from it
  • Push for real answers on safety at the Saratoga County Airport, an issue residents have raised for years as traffic has grown alongside new residential development
  • Write, call, and show up: to county officials, state agencies, our Assemblymember and Senator, whenever Milton families need something from any level of government

Affordability & Getting Our Money's Worth

A town supervisor cannot set national economic policy, but there is real money on the table for Milton, and right now we are leaving it there. Michele will:

• • Make sure taxpayers can see that their dollars are spent as promised, by exercising the Town Board's responsibility for fiscal oversight, including meaningful review and summary of the Comptroller's report at monthly Town Board meetings
  • Put Milton's Climate Smart Community designation to work, instead of leaving state dollars on the table
  • Utilize her grant writing experience to pursue state and federal dollars that ease the burden on taxpayers, while making sure residents receive the full benefit of services they are already eligible for through the county

Prepared for Emergencies

Emergencies do not wait for us to get organized. With professional experience in emergency preparedness planning, Michele will bring that expertise to Milton by:

• • Planning ahead for the growing demands on our fire and ambulance services as development continues, instead of waiting for a crisis
  • Working with Saratoga County on the new state requirements for coordinated emergency medical services planning, an issue Michele has already raised at town meetings
  • Ensuring Milton's emergency preparedness plans are comprehensive, well publicized, and account for all residents, including those with disabilities or specialized health care needs

Communication That Reaches You

You should not have to dig through clunky website sub-menus, or attend every meeting, to know what your town is doing. Michele will:

• • Make timely, transparent, and professional communication with the public the expectation in town hall, with dedicated staff to make sure it happens. Communication is a critical responsibility, not an add-on task for the Supervisor, Town Clerk, or Comptroller
  • Get information out through the channels residents actually use, with regular updates you can count on
  • Make the town website easier to navigate, so documents, agendas, and reports are simple to find
