It has been a beautiful fall spent going door to door to meet with my neighbors. I appreciate each and every conversation -- including, and perhaps especially, with those initially inclined to say "no way" to my candidacy. Being able to find common ground, learn about the day to day worries of our neighbors, and benefitting from the perspectives and experiences of others is what we need to move forward. Thank you to everyone who welcomed me at your door. I only wish there were more hours in the day so we could have reached everyone. Every person matters!
I am committed to effective communication, conversation, and collaboration in service of our community of neighbors. I believe we should expect the following from our local government:
Effective and timely community outreach and engagement;
Meaningful resident participation facilitated by the sharing of information and open board discussion;
Smart growth and development that values small business and honors Milton's history and character; and,
Recognition and celebration of the strength of diversity.
